Generosity As A Lifestyle

It doesn’t take a lot to be generous. Just lend a helping hand, a listening ear, a compassionate heart… And there’s a lot to be said about the benefits of giving.

Here’s a great post from a popular lifestyle coach, Michael Hyatt, about 5 research-backed benefits of making generosity a habit.


So, if we make it a habit to be generous, we become healthier, happier, there’s less stress around us, our relationships with our family, friends and acquaintances improve and therefore we live a much longer happier life.

But the question is, should we be generous so we reap these benefits? Should we expect something in return out of our generosity?

I think, sincere generosity comes when our heart and mind is framed towards the betterment of our brothers and sisters… giving without expecting something in return.
